The relations between the 'secular' and the 'religious' in modern and modern Jewish/Israeli society, culture, politics and education constitute my area of research. Within this context, my studies bring my knowledge in German and German-Jewish history and thought, to bear on such issues as secularization and pedagogy, theology and modernity, faith and political action, and to cover a variety of themes such as eco-pedagogy, mystical and spiritual notions in education, post-secular theory and ethics.
